Compass Design Studio is a North Alabama architecture firm founded by Allison Browning. Allison is the owner, founder, and principal designer. Every project that goes out the door reflects her judgment as a designer.
The partnership is structurally complementary. Allison's training and experience are in architectural design. Canyon's are in construction, development, and real estate operations. The combination is more capable than either of them would be alone.
The firm is small on purpose. Allison and Canyon take on a deliberately small number of active engagements at a time so the design year for each family is the kind of design year a homeowner remembers fondly.
